NOTES
Unknown locomotives are designated by the letters A,B & C. A was an 2-6-0 freight locomotive as listed on both the Florida & Georgia Railroad Commission reports for 1902. Both B & C are mystery engines that there is no data at all except the fact both state reports lists freight locomotives that were purchased in 1905 & 1906 in which can not be accounted for in known rosters. Three may even be a low number for the mystery locomotives on the South Georgia, it could certainly be a higher amount.
Sources for this roster includes Thomas Lawson, Jr. whose original roster was the blueprint for this cyberspace one. Also Russell Tedder(who is the number one authority on the South Georgia), the late John B. Allen. Records used include the States of Florida & Georgia Railroad Commission Annual Report Books, ICC valuation and locomotive reports and State of Florida Comptroller's Tax Records.
