Mystery Photograph  Number 5
Solved
Mystery sawmill
Can anyone identify this unknown deep south sawmill?  Its a large sawmill with a electricity, and that may be a powerhouse on the right. I would date this from anywhere between 1910-1940, though due to the quality of the print place it circa 1930. Please let me know if anyone can help place this scene.

From Ed Vosatka:
This is the sawmill at Oldsmar, FL, c. 1919. This photo is in the Florida
Photographic Collection, catalog no. N032414.

Incidentally, the building at the right is a dry kiln. To the right of it
is a log loader, but I can't tell if it's a Decker, McGiffert, or what. The
power house is on the left. Unfortunately, there are no other photos of
this mill in the collection.

Thanks Ed for your contribution.
