Many of the dispositions may have been transfers from the LOP&G to either the Dowling Lumber Co., Standard Lbr. Co , Brooks-Scanlon or other lumber companies affiliated with these companies. They were probably ran until they fell apart and either scrapped or used for parts. The Standard Lbr. Co also numbered their locos in the 60 series.
There may have been a first 69 purchased in 1907 or at least an unknown locomotive was purchased that year which does not appear on this roster. This would make the 69 listed on the above roster second 69.
The range of dates in the disposition column was computed using State of Florida RR Commission Records , 1917 ICC Valuation, and various State of Florida Tax Report Rosters from my collection.
The original steam roster was compiled by Thomas Lawson Jr. (with assistance
from Russell Tedder, John B. Allen, Don Hensley and Gilbert Hoffman) and
the original diesel-electric roster by Marvin Black (with assistance from
Russell Tedder).
Both rosters combined and edited into hmtl by Don Hensley
